Creatore Studios is committed to building a web experience that works for every visitor — regardless of ability, device, or how they choose to navigate the web. This page explains what we have built, what standard we hold ourselves to, and how to reach us if something isn’t working for you.

Our Commitment

This site is built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is not a marketing claim — it is a technical standard we verify and maintain.

We do not use accessibility overlay widgets. We believe accessibility belongs in the code, not layered on top of it. Every element on this site was built with assistive technology in mind from the start — not retrofitted after the fact.

Our current Lighthouse accessibility score is 97/100. The three remaining points represent a documented, intentional design decision involving small uppercase accent text. This is noted in our internal accessibility log and will be revisited as the design system evolves.

What’s in Place

What we have implemented

The following accessibility features are built into every page of this site:

• —Keyboard navigation — Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard alone. Tab order follows the visual reading order of the page.
• —Focus indicators — A visible ember-colored focus ring appears on all interactive elements when navigated by keyboard. Focus styles are never suppressed.
• —Screen reader support — Semantic HTML is used throughout. All sections have descriptive labels. Decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology. Images have descriptive alt text.
• —Skip to content — A skip link is available at the top of every page, allowing keyboard and screen reader users to bypass navigation and jump directly to the main content.
• —Color contrast — All text and background color combinations meet or exceed the WCAG AA minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1. Text colors are verified against every background they appear on.
• —Reduced motion — All animations and transitions respect the operating system’s reduced motion preference. If you have reduced motion enabled on your device, animations will not play.
• —Touch targets — All interactive elements meet the minimum touch target size of 44x44 pixels for comfortable use on mobile and touch devices.
• —Responsive design — The site is fully functional at all screen sizes and at 200% browser zoom.
• —No reliance on color alone — Color is never used as the sole means of conveying information or indicating state.

Honest Disclosure

Known limitations

We believe in material honesty — in the shop and on the web. That means being straight about what isn’t perfect yet.

One known limitation exists on this site: certain small uppercase accent text elements fall below the strict WCAG AA contrast threshold. This affects decorative label text only — never body copy, headings, or interactive elements. It is a documented design decision we are actively monitoring.
